Wasteland #29

0 min read
Wasteland: Kick in the Eye is my debut into comics and it will be out on 7/14! Holy cow, that's next week! Keep an eye out for it. Now, there's one thing I have to address which is the possibility that your local comic shop won't have a copy for you. You may want to trek out to your local shop today to make sure they have enough copies on order. While you're there, get 'em to order a few more while they're at it. My comic can't sell if comic shops aren't stocking them! I'll upload a sneak peek of the first page in my gallery. Go check it out! For more info on the series, check out: http://www.onipress.com/thebigwet/ To order the comic on

HEROES CON!

0 min read
Well, I'm FINISHED with my first book! It's a giant relief. I finished the night before I left for Heroes Con in Charlotte, NC. I was able to run around all weekend talking to artists I love as well as artists I hadn't yet met or heard of. I took EVERY chance I could get to show my pages around. For the most part, my work was met with great critiques. I learned a lot about where I need to focus for my next project. And all my bullshit was pointed out, again, and again, and again. That's what really helped. Thanks to all of you who came to my table this year! I hope to see you next year at Heroes Con!

Heroes Con

I'm so burnt out right now, and I've only got 4 pages left to ink! Exciting stuff! According to my current (tentative) schedule, I'll be done with the pages on Friday. Hopefully I'll have access to a nice computer/scanner somewhere to scan and clean up the pages. I'm trying to complete the pages before I graduate, so hopefully I'll have them done on the day graduation rehearsal is. That counts right? I have to keep telling myself, "They'll be done by Heroes Con!" And of that I'm pretty confident. Which brings up HEROES CON! One of the few Cons I've been to. I went last year and had a lot of fun. Perhaps this time around, I'll try to patrol t

Andy actually directed me to your page :) You are an amazing artist. Your comics are incredible and I especially love your sculptures!
Oh, cool! You'll have to be sure to thank him for sending people my way.
I'll tell him right now! I'm Catherine, by the way. Andy's girlfriend. Nice to kind of meet you. :)
Hey, I'm going to draw you for art class, kay?
Sounds good. Good luck!
Hello. I was wondering if you were looking to collarborate on any new projects? I have a couple of published works under my belt, but I am looking to produce a breakout work. Let me know if you are interested in learning more. You can also e-mail me at Metallx321@aol.com
Well, I'm scheduled for Wasteland for a while. I don't really have time for side projects. Thank you for the offer though!
